Meet Tamara Baranova, a Digital Marketing Specialist who I've worked with since April 2017 after she came across my website following a Google Search for a VA.

I hope you enjoy reading Tamara’s interview…

Hi Tamara, please introduce yourself

I’m a mum of 3, live in a small market town in England, half-Russian and half-Estonian, tech geek, Computer Science Graduate who hates programming, and I love learning more all the time. As a certified 6-figure launch strategist and Facebook Ads Manager, I work with coaches and consultants who want to build a profitable, purposeful and sustainable business selling info-products and services online.

What challenges did you face before you started working with me?

I had a technical VA who was able to schedule social media posts and design graphics for me, but she wasn’t good at actually writing social media content. I had no time to write or review content myself, so I needed someone who I could trust to write social media content to promote my blog posts, freebies, videos, etc. so it could then be scheduled in MeetEdgar. I also needed someone to proofread and copyedit my existing email campaigns in Infusionsoft.

What made you decide to work with a VA rather than employ someone in-house?

I've worked with VAs before as I find them to be more flexible and suitable to the ebbs and flows of my online business. I can then focus on working on projects with my own clients.

What were you looking for in a VA?

I was looking for a VA with native English to assist with copywriting, proofreading and social media content. I interviewed a few VAs and you seemed the most capable and were enthusiastic to help me with the initial social media content project.

What difference has working with me made to your business?

By creating social media content to promote the backlog of blog posts and videos I had created, my content is now automatically published on my social media channels which keeps my accounts active and efficient. The result of which is that my investment into MeetEdgar now pays for itself.

I am also able to continue using my old email campaigns in Infusionsoft to nurture new subscribers with the added confidence that they have been thoroughly checked, proofread and updated.

With you onboard, I never have to worry about having a backlog of content just sitting there awaiting promotion. Whenever I create a new blog post or email campaign I know that you will write the social media content for me so that it is actively promoted on my social media channels.

What would you say to someone thinking about working with a VA?

It's a worthwhile investment if you have specific tasks that you need completing or an ongoing business process that you can outsource to be managed for you.

It might feel scary to outsource at first but once you've found someone good you will free up your time to work on more important areas of your business.
